Crowns, bridges and dentures
Rebuilding a damaged tooth or replacing a missing one, with attention to chewing, appearance and durability.
Rebuilding a tooth
An inlay or onlay replaces the missing part of a tooth without covering it entirely. It preserves more healthy tooth than a crown.
A crown covers the whole tooth when it is too weakened, often after root canal treatment.
A veneer is a thin shell bonded to the visible surface of a front tooth to correct its shape or colour.
Replacing a missing tooth
A bridge rests on the neighbouring teeth to carry a replacement tooth. It is fixed.
A removable denture, partial or full, is taken out for cleaning. It is often the solution when several teeth are missing.
An implant-supported restoration is fixed on one or more implants, without touching the neighbouring teeth. Implants can also stabilise a full denture. Dental implants
The steps
Preparation of the tooth, impression, try-ins, then fitting. Between appointments, a temporary restoration is in place. A detailed estimate, specifying the materials, is given to you before treatment starts.
